Chicken wings have different names on the menu – namely chicken winglets, chicken wings, and
chicken lollipops. So I decided to call this as chicken “lollipops” just for fun to excite the kids.
CHICKEN”LOLLIPOPS” – serves 03
INGREDIENTS
Chicken wings 03 numbers (if it is sold with the drumettes, which is attached to the wing)
Soya sauce 01 teaspoon
Salt and pepper to taste
Batter (previously from the Chinese rolls)
Breadcrumbs 100 grams
Oil for frying
METHOD
Wash the wing well and separate the wing from the drumettes. Cut the drumette at the top and push the flesh down leaving the meat intact. Remove the small bone from the wing and repeat the same process. Season this with Soya sauce, salt and pepper. Dip in the batter, breadcrumb and place on the palm, press and shape whilst holding the bone with the other hand. Leave in the refrigerator for three (03) hours. Later heat the oil on medium flame and fry few at a time to a golden brown colour. Serve with either homemade tomato ketchup or tartar sauce. (Tartar sauce recipe is already there with BREADED FISH AND CHIPS recipe)
